News & Announcements **There will be a Bull Roast/Silent Auction meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 3rd @ 9:00 in the Volunteer Room. Anyone interested in helping out with this event is highly encouraged to attend!**

SAVE the DATE...the 1st Annual SDE PTA Bull Roast & Silent Auction Fundraiser will be held on Sat., March 20th, from 7-11 pm at Valley Mansion in Cockeysville! This adult-only event will feature loads of food, a 4 HR OPEN BAR, raffles, wheels and live entertainment by Dispatch (featuring Mrs. Santa Croce's hubby!)...all for $45 per person. Meetings
Mark your calendar! DATE CHANGE!! The February 2010 PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 7:00 PM. Volunteer training will still be held on Feb. 2nd from 6:30-7:00 PM in the library.
Objectives of the PTA--
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home school and community
- To raise the standards of home life
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education
